Our Sustainability Journey: February & March Update
At the end of 2022, we made a goal to be more transparent about our sustainability efforts in 2023 and its amazing how fast time is moving. We are already in April and have made some great strides in our sustainability efforts during February and March.
International Charity of Choice
We have been passionate in supporting environmental projects but have also been aware that supporting social projects that lift up the lives of those in our local and international community is just as important. We are currently looking into the many projects and initiatives in our home city of Liverpool to see how we can best support our local community and hope to share our plans very soon.
In the meantime, we have taken a great step forward in supporting our international community by choosing Transaid as our international charity of choice. We support and believe in their goal “to transform lives through safe, available and sustainable transport.” In support of the great work Transaid are doing, our team will be walking 2.5 million steps in April to commemorate their 25th anniversary in 2023.

Every donation ensures Transaid continue doing the fantastic work they are doing and we are excited to be taking on this great challenge as a team. Trees for Life
Our support for Trees for Life and their work to rewild the Scottish highlands is as strong as ever with every hire made through INTX including a donation to Trees for Life. In February we planted 35 trees into our grove and 34 in March. We are off to a fantastic start with our goal to plant 500 trees this year. Please keep an eye on our social media each month for the announcement on how many trees we are planting.
Better Business Act
We have been strong supporters of the Better Business Act, a campaign to transform the way we do business by changing the law so that every single company in the UK, whether big or small, takes ownership of its social and environmental impact. Over the last two months, our team members have written to their local MPs to raise awareness of the campaign and our Directors have shared why they support the campaign across our social media accounts.
B Corp Month
In March we had to the opportunity to attend 2030hub’s B Corp Breakfast Briefing in Liverpool. It was a great morning where we got to link up with like minded businesses. We enjoyed learning more about the B Corp certification process and it’s great to see that so many of us in Liverpool are working towards positive change.
We are proud of the wonderful steps towards change that we’ve taken so far and have plans to only improve in the coming months and years.
