Hores Racing |Aintree |Grand National |Corporate Transport

Going to the races is a great day out, whether this be with business associates, colleagues, or friends. Locally in the North West there are a few great Venues including, Aintree, Chester, Haydock, and Bangor on Dee.

One of the busiest times of the year for us at Intx is Aintree meeting, with Liverpool day on Thursday, Ladies Day on Friday and Grand National Day on Saturday. On Thursday & Friday it tends to be Local clients and on the Saturday there are visitors from all over the UK and the world.

The Grand National is a National Hunt horse race held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, England. First run in 1839, it is a handicap steeplechase over 4 miles 3 1⁄2 furlongs (7.141 km) with horses jumping 30 fences over two laps. It is the most valuable jump race in Europe, with a prize fund of £1 million in 2015.

The course over which the race is run features much larger fences than those found on conventional National Hunt tracks. Many of these, particularly Becher’s Brook, The Chair and the Canal Turn, have become famous in their own right and, combined with the distance of the event, create what has been called “the ultimate test of horse and rider”.

As well as the local courses our clients often travel further afield to watch some of the great Spectacles including Doncaster, York, Ascot, Goodwood and Cheltenham.

We have a range of vehicles which are ideal for corporate days out including Executive Chauffeur driven cars, Luxury Mini Coaches and larger coaches.  Letting someone else do the driving can take away some of the hassle associated with days out, including who is nominated driver and not “drinking”, where to park and planning the best route etc.
